As a potential assessor, you need to be informed of the following matters:

Following the initial screening of your application, each applicant will undergo two phases of selection:

First Phase:

  • A four-hour introductory training module
  • An assessment will follow and will determine the potential assessors who qualify to the second phase

Second Phase:

  • A three-day formal training in addition to one-day pilot training visit to a company
  • The three-day training will be concluded by a four-hour evaluation test
  • Applicants will be asked to sign a declaration of non-disclosure and availability

The training will be provided free of charge; however, in return, you will be asked to give a formal undertaking to carry out three assessments with three companies, to complete your formal training.

The LEA process will take place annually.

Your personal time to invest after being named an LEA assessor will be approximately four days per applicant company/organisation:

  • One day for personal preparation to visit the applicant company and study the relevant documentation.
  • One day to run an assessment meeting with a partner assessor and clarify issues relevant to the site visit.
  • One day site visit to the applicant.
  • One day preparation of the feedback report.

For the first three tasks, you may select your own time and convenience.

For the last task, you will be required to be present in person at the premises of the applicant organisation.

Note that your availability for the following tentative dates is required:

  • One day/four-hour introductory training
  • Three-day formal training
  • One/two days for the site visits to the companies and finalising the Feedback Report, arising from the companies’ visits.
