Workshop on Intellectual Property in cooperation with the Ministry of Economy & Trade Date : 27-28 march 2018
The World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) organized a workshop on “the mechanisms and policies put in place to support the Small and Medium sized Enterprises (SMEs) in order to apply the intellectual property system within its competitive strategy” on Tuesday and Wednesday March 27th & 28th at the Economic and Social Council with the participation of WIPO foreign experts and Arab participants working in the field of intellectual property and SMEs in addition to local experts. In this regard, all participants stressed the necessity to strengthen the intellectual property system through supporting the small enterprises’ projects and enhancing their competitive capacity at the regional and international levels.
