LEA Award 2009 Ceremony was held on January 21st 2010 at the Presidential Palace under the patronage of His Excellency General Michel Sleiman, the ex-president of the Lebanese Republic, in the presence of H.E. Mr. Mohammad Safadi, previous Minister of Economy and Trade; H.E Mr. Mohammed Fneich, previous Minister of State for Administrative Development; H.E. Mr. Abraham Dediyan, previous Minister of Industry; H.E. Mr. Patrick Laurent, previous Head of DEU to Lebanon; Mr. Roger Nasnas, President of ECOSOC; and a large number of leading economic figures as well as the heads of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, and Agriculture; the Lebanese Excellence Award jury panel members; the Association of Industrialists; Beirut Trade Association and heads of many other syndicates.
