Minister Amin Salam visited this afternoon the Jordanian Ambassador to Lebanon, Waleed Hadid, in his office in Baabda, complementing his tours on the Ambassadors of the Arab and regional countries to keep the communications lines opened and share the events’ details in this critical circumstance.

To this end, Minister Amin Salam informed  the Jordanian Ambassador M. Waleed Hadid about the condition of the displaced from the villages and cities exposed to bombings and the possibility to provide them with humanitarian support and equip the displacement places that opened their doors to welcome the displaced people in schools and buildings; in particular the “Quality in” hotel at the Rachid Karami International Fair in Tripoli which extends over one million square meters to be at the service of the displaced.

Moreover, Minister Salam conveyed his thanks to the King of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, His Majesty Abdullah II for the continuous royal initiative to help Lebanon under these difficult situation that the country is going through.

On his turn, Ambassador Waleed Hadid thanked Minister Salam for his visit and showed willingness to meet his humanitarian and national request. He also assured that the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan has always stood and still stands with the Lebanese people, stressing the importance of equipping the Logistics Emergency Team by the Lebanese government and facilitating the aids transportation, especially in these exceptional circumstances.
