Visit of the Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt

Minister Amin Salam started his day in the morning by visiting the Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt Alaa Moussa, in the Embassy’s headquarter in Beirut, complementing his tours on the Ambassadors of the Arab and regional countries to keep the communications lines opened in order to comprehend their detailed information and support on all levels, if possible, under this continuous aggression that Lebanon is going through.
To this end, Minister Salam conveyed his thanks to Ambassador Moussa for the continuous support shown to Lebanon by both the Arab Republic of Egypt and President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi at the international and regional instances..
Minister Amin Salam also explained to the Egyptian Ambassador the country’s general situation; in particular the necessity to provide humanitarian aids and adequate places for the displaced in addition to meet their daily needs. He addressed a request to provide assistance in order to support and equip the displacement places, such as schools and buildings, that opened their doors to welcome the displaced people; in particular the “Quality in” hotel at the Rachid Karami International Fair in Tripoli which extends over one million square meters to be at the service of the displaced.
On his turn, Ambassador Alaa Moussa thanked Minister Salam for his visit and assured to him that the Egyptian government and people are standing with Lebanon; stressing that Egypt will not spare any effort to help de-escalating the situation and provide aids, putting the humanitarian support above all else.
