Lebanese Republic 
The Ministry of Economy and Trade issued a decree to form a special committee to monitor and control prices
His Excellency Minister of Economy and Trade Nicolas Nahas issued a decree holding the number AT/1/210, requiring the formation of a special committee to monitor and regulate prices as per the below text:
The Minister of Economy and Trade
As per decree number 5818 dated 13/6/2011 (formation of the government)
As per the implemented law in decree number 6821 dated 28/12/1973 (determining the functions and personnel of both the ministry of Economy and Trade and the Ministry of Industry and oil)
As per the legislative decree number 73 dated 9/9/1973, especially article 6 in iths 1st and 2nd sections, (regarding the possession of goods and foods)
As per the Suggestion of the acting general director of economy and trade
The following is decided:
Article One: A special committee to monitor and regulate prices and to submit suggestions to help bring down prices, as per the following manner:

- Mr. Ali el Hage, Syndicate of Poultry in Bekaa
- Mr. Samir Kortbawi, Syndicate of Poultry
- Mr. Simon Boutros, Syndicate of Poultry Farmers in North Lebanon
- Mr. Marouf Bikdash, Syndicate of Butchers Union and Livestock Traders

Article 2: Developing Solutions to the problems that lead to the increase in food prices,
Article 3: This Decree id published and implemented as soon as it is issued%
The Committee will hold its first session at 11.00 a.m. the following Monday the 14th of November, 2011.
