The DG of Economy and Trade Dr. Mohammad Abou Haidar participated in a seminar organized by the Indian Embassy in Lebanon in the presence of Ambassador Suha Ijaz Khan
The DG of Economy and Trade Dr. Mohammad Abou Haidar participated today in a seminar organized by the Indian Embassy in Lebanon in the presence of Ambassador Suha Ijaz Khan, aiming at exploring the best means to enhance cooperation between with two countries at the level of the Jewelry and Gems sector.
The resulting recommendations including the importance of organizing exhibitions, seminars and mutual visits to enhance trade relations.
In his opening remarks, Dr Abu Haidar stressed on the importance of giving this sector the necessary attention and for this seminar to be a first step towards exploring other promising sectors that can promote the economic and trade relations between Lebanon and India.
The seminar was attended by the DG of the Ministry of Industry and representatives of the Chamber of Commerce, the relevant syndicates from both countries and jewelry traders in Lebanon.
