Salam welcomed a delegation of the Lebanese Army Command
the needs of the Military Institution are a matter of national security
Minister of Economy and Trade, Amin Salam, welcomed in his office at the Ministry a delegation of the Staff and Quarter Master Directorates in the Lebanese Army who bring to him the need of the Military Institution to provide the wheat and bread in order to ensure the soldiers’ food security under these challenging economic and life conditions that the country is witnessing.
To his turn, Salam reiterated to the delegation that he will give his directives to all flour mills and bakeries to provide the Lebanese Army needs from wheat and bread in such a way that assures the needed and required quantities by the Military Institution in order to fill any shortage that may occur in this regard. He added: this is the least we can do for the Army, the nation’s shield. Its needs are a matter of national security, it is an undisputable issue.
