Salam was informed by the Ambassador of Pakistan that 19 tons of aids will be provided to the shelters centers
Minister of Economy and Trade, Amin Salam, welcomed in office at the Ministry the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Salman Akhtar who informed the Minister that 19 tons of aids will be provided, encompassing medical, food and general supplies for accommodation, in continuation for the Minister Salam’ visits to the Ambassadors of Arab and regional countries to mobilize the humanitarian support for the displaced and equip the shelters centers, such as schools and buildings, that opened their doors to welcome the displaced people; in particular the “Quality in” hotel at the Rachid Karami International Fair in Tripoli .
On his turn, Minister Salam expressed his thanks to Ambassador Akhtar for his brotherly efforts and for the rapid response of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. In addition, both parties agreed to keep cooperating in order to ensure the access for humanitarian aids and to keep communication lines opened round-the-clock.
