Salam received a delegation of the Fuel stations and fuel distributers’ syndicate
Minister of Economy and Trade, Amin Salam, welcomed in his office at the Ministry a delegation of the syndicate of the Fuel stations and fuel distributers. Both parties discussed of the sector’s concerns and challenges under the escalating economic crisis and the huge increase in the exchange rate in the black market accompanied by an increase in sayrafa rate.
Salam stressed on the importance to find necessary solutions to protect both the fuel sector and the consumers’ rights. In addition, parties agreed to coordinate with the Ministry of Energy and Water by holding series of meetings at the nearest in order to reduce the blunder witnessed by the fuel sector under these exceptional circumstances that the country is facing at all levels.
