Salam discusses with Qatari Minister of Municipality the project of the municipalities twinning between the two countries.
Minister of Economy Amin Salam visited today on Wednesday the Qatari Minister of Municipality, Dr. Abdulla bin Abdulaziz bin Turki Al Subaie, at his office in the Ministry located in the Qatari capital, Doha. Both parties discussed common issues related to municipalities and local administrations. They also agreed to pursue the twinning project between the municipalities of Qatar and Lebanon among various projects that will be discussed in the beginning of next year by the Lebanese-Qatari Joint Higher Committee presided by Minister of Economy.
Salam informed the Qatari Minister on some problems that the Lebanese economy faces and discussed together several related solutions.
It is to mention that Salam had accepted a lunch invitation in the Qatari Chamber of Commerce where he met with Qatari pioneering personalities in the field of business.
Furthermore, Salam is undertaking a visit to Qatar since the beginning of the week during which he met with some Qatari officials and discussed on the topical subjects and the Lebanese crisis. In addition, Salam discussed a bunch of ideas and solutions for the Lebanese economic crisis.
