Registering a commercial or industrial trademark

The Ministry of Economy and Trade launched its first web service offered to the Lebanese citizen: "registering a commercial or industrial trademark".

This service, added to the optional registration method via Libanpost, should simplify how transactions are conducted inside the Ministry with the least effort required from the citizen. The launch of this service is a pioneering step in terms of communication between the parties concerned and easy flow of information, allowing the citizen to complete the required procedures without leaving his home.

This service is the first stage of a program being implemented gradually on priority basis which includes in its first phase, eight offered services:

The registration of a commercial or industrial trademark.
Enquiring about a company, individual, artist, movie or vessel on the boycott israel list.
License to hold exhibitions and fairs on Lebanese soil by Lebanese organizations.
License to hold exhibitions and fairs overseas by Lebanese organizations.
License to hold exhibitions and fairs on Lebanese soil by foreign organizations.
Registration of a branch or representative office.
Registration of commercial representation contract or exclusive agency.
Paying Annual fees for a commercial representation contract.
