Press release- Minister of Economy & Trade: a wide range of our services have become totally digitized.

Minister of Economy & Trade, Dr. Amer Bisat, announced the launching of an advanced stage of automated services at the Ministry of Economy & Trade aiming to facilitate the formalities, to reduce time and cost as well as to enhance transparency.

To this end, he stated that a wide range of services have become fully electronically available, including the consumers’ complaints; the professional services encompassing the gas stations operations; the tanker services, the applications of goods re-inspection; the custom data transactions in addition to series of services related to the commercial enterprises, publishing houses and exhibitions.

In this regard, Minister Bisat called the citizens and the stakeholders to submit their applications only via the following online platforms:

In addition, he announced that the intellectual Property services will become fully digitized during the first semester of 2026.

He also asserted that starting February 1^st, 2026 online applications for these services will be solely approved.

To conclude, Minister Bisat affirmed the commitment of the Ministry of Economy and Trade to update its services and improve the citizen’s experience. He urged the citizens to use the smart application in order to file the complaints. He also called on the professionals and  the business owners to benefit from the available online services; stating that more than twenty services have become fully digitized; comprising the services of the Consumer  Protection Directorate and some of the Trade Department services, namely those related to organizing exhibitions and markets in Lebanon and abroad.
