Presentation of a study on the laboratory results of the Ministry of Public Health for Food Safety campaign

The findings of a study made on the laboratory results for the Ministry of Health’ food safety campaign entitled “Findings and recommendations for the market risks analysis” were presented within the framework of the scientific studies performed by the Ministry of Economy and Trade for the risks assessment in order to elaborate science based control programs. In this regard, the student Rita El Haddad performed this study falling under the students volunteers program under the supervision of Dr. Elie Bou Yazbeck, Food Science Expert at the Ministry of Economy and Trade. At the end, the study defined the sectors and food categories that require further control through performing inspection and guidance works and the provision of both technical support and expert scientific advice.
