In continuation to the tours and meetings of the Minister Amin Salam to mobilize the humanitarian support for the displaced due to the aggressive bombing on Lebanon, Minister Salam welcomed today in his office the Ambassador of Turkey to Lebanon M. Ali Barış Ulusoy, to read upon the Turkish movement toward Lebanon in this regard.

To this end, Minister Amin Salam addressed a request to the Turkish Ambassador to provide assistance in order to support and equip the displacement places, such as schools and buildings, that opened their doors  to welcome the displaced people in schools and, in particular the “Quality in” hotel at the Rachid Karami International Fair in Tripoli which extends over one million square meters to be at the service of the displaced.

Minister also thanked Ambassador Ali Barış Ulusoy for his continuous efforts to assure the arrival of a plane loaded with 30 tons of medical aids.

On his turn, Ambassador Ali Barış Ulusoy assured the standing of the Turkish Government by the Lebanese Government and its support to the brother Lebanese people through these exceptional conditions. He also stressed their fast readiness and preparedness  to meet the request of the Lebanese people, especially the Minister’ call for humanitarian support.
