Minister of Endowments (Awqaf) welcomes the visit of Minister Salam
we are keen on Lebanon and its citizens.
An extended and fruitful meeting with the Minister of Endowments (Awqaf) and Islamic Affairs: discussions tackled international conventions and their impact on the Lebanese youth as well as on the Islamic, moral and cultural rise and awareness in Lebanon..
Based on this,
Minister Salam had previously visited Dar Al-Fatwa in the Lebanese Republic on October 13th, and held an extended meeting with His Eminence Mufti of the Lebanese Republic, Dr. Abdul Latif Darian to inform him about his visit program to Qatar and advise him that he will meet with Qatari´ Minister of Endowments (Awqaf) and Islamic Affairs.
As the State of Qatar and its people always did, we truly felt the brotherhood and cooperation to help Lebanon, the thing that was publically declared and heard today from the Minister of Endowments (Awqaf).
It is to mention that the meeting between the two Ministers was extended and fruitful whereof Ministers Al Ghanim and Salam in addition to the accompanying delegation constituted of Sheikh Rami Al Ferri; the President of the Chamber of Commerce, Industry, and Agriculture of Tripoli and North Lebanon, Toufic Dabboussi; the President of Irada Association and its members discussed on the international conventions and their impact on the Lebanese youth in addition to the search strategy in these conventions and their impact on the Islamic, moral and cultural rise and awareness in Lebanon..
Being briefed on about the ideas and suggestions of both Minister Salam and the accompanying delegation, Minister of Endowments (Awqaf), Ghanem bin Shaheen bin Ghanem Al Ghanim, stressed on the necessity to visit Lebanon in addition to making repeated and frequent visits given the wide fields of cooperation in the Faculty of Sharia and Faculty of Al Imam Al Ouzai.. Furthermore, Minister of Endowments (Awqaf) and Islamic Affairs asked Minister Amin Salam to pursue this issue and coordinate with Dar Al Fatwa to convey the meeting´ atmosphere and achieve the accurate and desired objectives of the Qatari support.
