Minister of Economy and Trade, Amin Salam, met with the Lebanese Ambassador to Iraq Mr. Ali Adib Al-Habhab in the presence of the Director General of Economy, Dr. Mohamad Abou Haidar. During the meeting, Ambassador Al-Habhab informed Minister Salam of the completion of the visit’ schedule to Iraq on the occasion of holding the Lebanese-Iraqi bilateral committee’ meeting in Baghdad in September; headed from the Lebanese side by Minister Amin Salam accompanied by a high level delegation from both public and private sectors. 

To this end, Minister Salam stressed the “importance of the Lebanese-Iraqi bilateral committee’ works during this delicate stage that the region is going through and under major challenges that Iraq and Lebanon are facing as a result of the long wars”.
