Minister of Economy met Ambassador of Sultanate Oman

Minister of Economy, Amin Salam met Ambassador of Sultanate Oman Dr.to Ahmed Mohammed Said Alsaidi in his office at the Embassy as part of his tour on the Ambassadors of the Arab brothers countries to inform them about the general situation, namely the displacement from the South and Bekaa in addition to the necessary aids and assistance to ensure their needs before the emergence of an-out-control social crisis which the Government is unable to bear their consequences..
In this regard, Minister Amin Salam asked the Sultanate of Oman to provide help in supporting and equip the displacement places that opened their doors to welcome the displaced people in schools and buildings, in particular the “Quality in” hotel at the Rachid Karami International Fair in Tripoli which extends over one million square meters to be at the service of the displaced.
On his turn, The Omani Ambassador expressed his willingness to answer this humanitarian request as well as to stand by the Lebanese people and show solidarity to them. Moreover, he thanked Minister Salam for his visit and trust in the Omani Leadership.
