Minister of Economy and Trade welcomed the International Monetary Fund delegation
Minister of Economy and Trade, Amin Salam, welcomed this morning in his office at the ministry the International Monetary Fund delegation that praised the importance of the competition law adoption as an essential positive step to move forward with the reforms required by the Fund. Moreover, the delegation expressed its willingness to provide support for the law implementation. Both parties also discussed the next phase of negotiations with the Fund.
In addition, Minister Salam stressed the priority to preserve food safety, especially due to the Ukrainian crisis.
