Minister of Economy and Trade received a confirmation from Turkish Foreign Affairs Minister, Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu
Minister of Economy and Trade, Amin Salam, received a confirmation from Turkish Foreign Affairs Minister, Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, that Ankara will continue supporting Lebanon’ economic stability.
In this regard, Salam and Oğlu, held a meeting in Lancaster Eden Bay Hotel in Beirut, where he will be staying, to discuss about the economic and commercial relations between both countries. Salam stressed the importance of promoting these relations in view of the common interest, looking forward to close bilateral cooperation thus, allowing Lebanon to benefit from the Turkish market of intensive consumption and contributing to expand the trade volume between the two countries as well as to promote the private sector’ capacity in order to increase the lebanese exports to Turkey.
At the end, Minister Salam thanked for the Turkish concern to promote bilateral economic and commercial ties. He also thanked Minister Oğlu for the invitation he received to visit Ankara and meet the Ministers of Economy, Trade and Finance as well as to make acquaintance of several leading companies interested to invest in Lebanon.
