Minister of Economy and Trade met with Iraq's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs , Fouad Hussein
Within the framework of Antalya Diplomacy Forum, Minister of Economy and Trade, Amin Salam, met with Iraq's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Fouad Hussein and discussed means of developing bilateral ties in various fields, especially in the field of economy and trade. In addition, they touched on means of supporting and strengthening the work of the Joint Iraqi-Lebanese Committee, headed on the Lebanese side by Minister of Economy and Trade in order to appoint an early date for the committee’ meeting.
In this regard, Iraq's Deputy Prime Minister assured to Minister Salam the Iraqi permanent support to Lebanon, especially within these extraordinary circumstances that the country is going through.
In his turn, Minister Salam thanked the Iraqi Deputy Prime Minister for his constant support given to Lebanon, especially in the field of energy and opening doors for large quantities of Lebanese imports.
