Minister of Economy and Trade met the Union of Arab Banks Secretary General , Mr. Wissam Fattouh
Minister of Economy and Trade, Amin Salam, met at this office the Union of Arab Banks Secretary General, Mr. Wissam Fattouh and received from him a n invitation to sponsoring the First Arab Forum for Banks and Businessmen, organized by the Union with the cooperation of the Union of Arab Chambers and Jordanian Businessmen Association whereof Salam is supposed to deliver the opening speech.
It is to mention that this Forum is the first of its kind gathering Arab businessmen and bankers to discuss the investment’ opportunities and cooperation among them. The Forum is to be held in Beirut on June 29th & 30th, 2023.
To this end, Salam assured that hosting the first version of this Forum in Beirut is a pure Arabic act of faith in Lebanon and its promising future as a financial and economic hub that constitutes the millstone for recovery. He also stressed that the Government will exert all its efforts in order to strengthen Lebanon’ ties with its Arab brother countries in addition to develop commonalities allowing to launch investment programs in Lebanon within the framework of the reform procedures as part of the recovery plan.
