the joint work toward automation
Minister of Economy and Trade, M. Amin Salam, held a meeting with the Heads of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture in Lebanon, attended by the former Minister, President of the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture of Beirut & Mount Lebanon, Mohamed Choucair; President of the Chamber of Commerce, Industry, and Agriculture of Tripoli and North Lebanon M. Toufic Dabboussi; Vice President of the Zahle and Bekaa Chamber of Commerce, M. Mounir El-Tini; and President of the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture in Sidon, M. Mohamad Saleh. Discussions tackled the necessary economic reforms prior to launch a public private partnership initiative in order to unify the solutions regarding the future of the Lebanese economy. Furthermore, the meeting emphasized the need for cooperation and coordination between public and private sectors. It was also agreed upon the joint work toward automation between the Chambers and the Ministry in completion of the automation project that the Ministry of Economy and Trade had already started to implement.
