Minister of Economy addressed the subject of the Rachid Karameh International Fair with the Director of the UNESCO Regional Bureau in Beirut, Costanza Farina.
Minister of Economy & Trade, Amin Salam, welcomed at his office the UNESCO Director of the Regional Bureau of Education in the Arab States, Costanza Farina. Discussions tackled fields of cooperation and the procedures to be adopted for Rachid Karameh International Fair of Tripoli is inscribed on UNESCO's World Heritage List in danger in January 25th.
To this end, the UNESCO seeks in cooperation with both the Ministry of Economy and Trade, being the custodian for Rachid Karameh International Fair of Tripoli; and the Ministry of Culture to elaborate a work plan in order to preserve the fair ergonomically and recuperate its cultural and economic status as an exemplary cultural landmark in the North capital, Tripoli in particular and the Mediterranean basin , in general.
