Minister of Econmomy visited the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Lebanon

Minister of Econmomy, Amin Salam, continued this afternoon his tours on the Ambassadors of Arab and regional countries to mobilize the humanitarian support for the displaced who fled their homes due to the heavy bombardment over Lebanon. In this regard, he visited the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Lebanon Walid Bukhari in his office at the Embassy to thank him for the support of the Kingdom, at the leadership and people level, for the Government and the Lebanese people, especially under these current situations.
Minister Salam informed Ambassador Walid Bukhari about the general situation, namely the displacement flow from the South and Bekaa due to the Israeli bombardments in addition to the necessary aids to ensure the displaced’ needs before the emergence of an-out-control social crisis in which the Government is unable to bear their consequences.. He also addressed a direct and urgent humanitarian request to provide help in supporting and equip the displacement places that opened their doors to welcome the displaced people in schools and buildings, in particular the “Quality in” hotel at the Rachid Karami International Fair in Tripoli which extends over one million square meters to be at the service of the displaced.
In addition, Minister Salam congratulated Ambassador Bukhari on the occasion of the 94th Saudi national day.
