Minister Amin Salam met with the Iraqi Minister of Trade in Manama

Minister Amin Salam met with Mr. Atheer Daoud Al-Ghurairi, the Iraqi Minister of Trade in Manama , the capital of Bahrain, on the occasion of holding the Economic and Social Council meetings at the ministerial level, in preparation for holding the 33rd of the Arab Summit in Bahrain.
In this regard, Minister Atheer Daoud Al-Ghurairi assured to Minister Amin Salam the importance of supporting all the exerted efforts and the necessity of cooperation in order to achieve the goals desired by both Iraq and Lebanon in addition to enhance the economic integrity between both countries, stressing the need to hold a meeting of the bilateral Lebanese-Iraqi economic and social committee in Baghdad..
On his turn, Minister Salam praised the fast cooperation of Minister Al-Ghurairi in fixing a date for the Committee’ meeting expected to be held in Baghdad. He also thanked him for his initiative to prepare the holding of a free exhibition for the Lebanese producers in order to promote their products in the Iraqi market, as an assistance from the Iraqi Republic to the Lebanese products to support Lebanese exports and open new markets.
