Lebanon Recovery Fund

H.E. Minister Nicolas Nahhas chaired the ‘Lebanon Recovery Fund’ (LRF) 12th Steering Committee Meeting in the presence of H.E Minister of Finance Mr. Mohammad Safadi, the United Nations Resident Coordinator Mr. Robert Watkins, the advisor to the Prime Minister Mr. Samir El Daher, the representatives of Spain H.E. Ambassador Juan Carlos Gafo and First Secretary Ms. Mariana Figueroa, the representative of the EU Delegation Mr. Bruno Montariol and the representative of the United Arab Emirates Charge d’Affaires Mr. Salim El Jaberi.

Discussions targeted the fund resource mobilization and follow-up on the implementation of on-going projects. It is worth mentioning that LRF has approved 25 projects to date consisting of a wide spectrum of economic and social initiatives all over Lebanon.
