Launching the mechanism to support the lebanese agro industries to implement the food safety management system

The Quality Unit (QUALEB) at the Ministry of Economy and Trade organized a workshop to launch the mechanism to support the lebanese agro industries to implement the food safety management system ISO 22000. Many personalities attended the workshop in addition to 50 representatives of the food factories who expressed their keen interest. The workshop was inaugurated by the Director General of the Economy and Trade, Mrs. Alia Abbas followed by the President of the Syndicate of Lebanese Food Industries Mr. Ahmad Hoteit who gave a speech in which he appreciated the endeavors exerted by the Ministry in this regard. Furthermore, the Quality Expert at the Ministry of Economy and Trade, Mrs. Roula Nasrallah gave a brief presentation on implementing the food safety management system and the support steps applied by the Ministry of Economy & Trade.
