A Lebanese delegation visits Doha…
Salam meets with Qatar´s Ambassador to Lebanon
In preparation for the Doha visit expected after two weeks, Minister of Economy and Trade Amin Salam met today at his office with Qatar´s Ambassador to Lebanon HE Sheikh Saud Bin Abdul Rahman Al-Thani. During the meeting, they discussed bilateral ties between the two brothers’ countries and pursued the preparations´ coordination for the expected visit to Doha that Lebanon is counting on to boost the cooperation with the sisterly State of Qatar.
In this regard, Salam wished for the Qatar´s Ambassador "success on the occasion of assuming his diplomatic duties as the Qatar´s Ambassador to Lebanon".
It is to mention that Salam will visit Doha from November 18th till November 23rd accompanied with a Lebanese economic delegation. It is expected that Minister Salam will hold high level meetings with Qatar’s officials in addition to various meetings with the private sector; mainly with banks, investment bodies, funding institutions as well as Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture.
In the margin of this visit, Minister Salam will also pay a visit to the Lebanese pavilion in EXPO 2023 Doha Qatar and hear from the organizers about the preparations for this expected event which is supposed to be a milestone as the other occasions and events organized by the State of Qatar.
