The vehicle mechanical inspection Scandal: Absence of accountability
The Media OfficeofMinister of Economy and Trade Dr. Alain Hakim made the following announcement:
Once again, the mechanical inspection scandal unveils the government policy adopted in tenders management, especially after revealing the huge difference in prices between the intended outsourced company, from one hand and the excluded company, from the other hand.
In this regard, we recall the letter that we previously sent to the Prime Minister Tammam Salam on October 13th, 2015 whereof we urged him to stop the tender and discuss the issue in the Council of Ministers in order to ratify the terms of reference modified apart from observations.
In Brief, the vehicle mechanical inspection is one of the continuing scandals while the government is still absent without any accountability.
