With reference to decisions n° 135/1/E.T on July 28th, 2017; n°100/1/ E.T on June 6th, 2018 and n° 176/1/ E.T on September 28th, 2018 respectively, regarding the declarations that the private electricity generators make before the Ministry of Economy and Trade as well as the compulsory installation of electricity meters for the generator subscribers and the abidance by the new tariff fixed by the Ministry of Energy and Water,
First, as from October 1st, 2018, the generator owner shall not have the right to collect any previous tariff from the generator subscriber because the monthly tariff shall be in compliance with the kilowatt consumed according to the monthly tariff determined by the Ministry of Energy. In case the generator owner collected the tariff of the current month, then he should deduct it from the invoice amount at the end of the month; provided that he shall not receive any previous tariff during the coming months.
Second, the generator owner shall collect a one-time-only deposit from the subscriber of an amount of 100000 L.B.P for 5 Amperes and 175000 L.B.P for 10 Amperes in addition to 75000 L.B.P for each additional 5 Amperes in the event the generator subscriber wished to increase his subscription. In return, the subscriber will receive a receipt revealing the deposited amount in order to be returned in complete once the subscription is suspended and all due costs are settled. In the event the subscriber failed to settle his invoice at the end of the month, the generator owner shall deduct the invoice value from the deposit and return the remaining amount once the subscription is suspended.
Third, the generator owner should bear the cost of the electricity meter and its installation. However, the generator subscriber should bear the cost of all relevant installations after showing all necessary invoices issued by the source and not the generator owner; provided that the installations cost shall not exceed 50000 L.B.P in any case.
