Hakim: a clear marginalization of the General Directorate of State Security
The media office of the Minister of Trade and Economy, D. Alain Hakim, made the following statement:
The exclusion of the General Director of State Security, Major General Georges Karaa being the head of one of the most important military institutions in Lebanon, from the parliamentary session for President election is an explicit marginalization of the institution and its General Director.
For this reason, we put the issue in the President of the Republic Michel Aoun’s hands in order to take the necessary actions and put an end to this farce, seeking respect for this institution.
