Directorate of Consumer Protection advises citizens to ensure the safety of toys
The Directorate of Consumer Protection advises citizens to check the safety of toys
since citizen safety is the ultimate objective sought by the Ministry of Economy and Trade, the ministry requests from citizens to comply with all precautionary instructions provided by the Directorate of consumer protection to prevent all kinds of accidents. Citizen cooperation remains first and foremost the most important element in reducing accidents through adopting preventive behavior in all aspects of life. Therefore, the Directorate calls upon the citizens of to follow instructions and guidelines for public safety, where what`s related to the safety of toys can be found on the official website of the Ministry: “www.economy.gov.lb”, under the title: "Tips to be followed for the safety of toys”
In this context, the Directorate has collaborated with the University of Notre Dame De Louaize, to arrange a series of televised advertising guidelines that will be broadcasted on all channels to urge citizens to the need of ensuring the safety of toys.
