Director General of Economy and Trade made inspection patrols to supermarkets, bakeries and fuel stations
Based on the decisions taken by the Higher Council of Defense, Director General of Economy and Trade, Dr. Mohamad Abou Haidar, assigned by Minister of Economy and Trade, Amin Salam, made inspection patrols to supermarkets, bakeries and fuel stations; with the assistance of the Municipalities Union of the Southern Suburb of Beirut (Dahieh).
In this regard, the Ministry confirms that inspection patrols on food companies and retail points will be pursued in order to control violations regarding the increase in the goods’ prices, especially the food items and essential commodities.
