Minister of Economy and Trade met the IMF delegation headed by Ernesto Ramirez
Minister of Economy and Trade, Amin Salam, met in his office at the Ministry the IMF delegation headed by Ernesto Ramirez whereof discussions tackled the path of the negotiations process in preparation for agreeing on the program.
It is to mention that this meeting provides an update for the ongoing negotiations with IMF .
In this regard, Minister Salam, as the negotiations committee’ member with the IMF, stated: “we hope to reach a preliminary agreement after two weeks of discussions”; adding that discussions touched “the negotiations path in order to launch the economic and financial recovery plan”
